STL Stair Repair: Professional Masonry Restoration Standards

STL Stair Repair Warranty

 Our Mission

At STL Stair Repair, we specialize in quality, high-strength masonry restoration using high psi modified materials and mechanical doweling. Because we focus on the integral bond and long-term stability of the repair rather than common temporary  "ugly patches," our warranty is specifically designed to guarantee the physical attachment and integrity of our masonry work on the major damaged and broken areas.

Limited Warranty on Restoration Integrity

This warranty applies exclusively to the integral bond of the restoration. Specifically, this covers the mechanical adhesion of the repair material to the existing substrate (e.g., doweled corners or replaced damaged sections). STL Stair Repair guarantees cover the large volume major damage restored sections will remain physically attached and intact for a period of 24 months.

Foundation and Movement Limitations

This warranty is limited to the repair material application itself and its bond to the substrate. STL Stair Repair is not responsible for failures caused by the shifting, settling, freeze-thaw, or movement of the existing porch, steps, or foundation. We do not perform or warranty foundation stabilization or structural subsidence.

Cosmetic and Surface Exclusions

Surface cosmetics are not covered under this warranty. This includes, but is not limited to: hairline cracks, shrinkage or expansion cracks (7/16" or less in width), wear, weathering, discoloration, spalling, and the failure of any surface coatings (such as thin cements, paints, stains, sealers, or anti-skid treatments) applied over the restoration.

Winter Care & Safety

Your safety is our primary concern. While using sand or "concrete-safe" ice melts can best preserve the aesthetic finish of your masonry, we understand that St. Louis winters require active de-icing for fall prevention. Please note that heavy use of traditional rock salt or calcium chloride may cause surface scaling or "pitting" over time. While this surface wear is cosmetic and not covered by warranty, it will not compromise the integral doweled bond of our restoration work.

Customer Service Note While cosmetics are independent of our primary warranty, we are happy to provide our valued customers with low-cost aesthetic touch-ups should the need ever arise.
